Aprile 2025, Monfrague (E). Monfrague è un posto noto soprattutto per i rapaci, in particolare gli avvoltoi. Ci sono Grifoni in gran numero, ma anche Monaci, Capovaccai, Nibbi bruni, Aquile minori, Bianconi, Gufi reali, Aquile imperiali e vari passeriformi come lo Zigolo muciatto ed il Passero solitario (parlo di quello che m'è capitato di vedere e a volte fotografare). La Cicogna nera nidifica con pochi esemplari che non disdegnano di farsi apprezzare nei loro voli un po' disarmonici, specie al momento del decollo. Erano già in coppia ma ancora senza prole.
