Lo dice il Guinness dei Primati: l'Antica Enoteca Al Brindisi di Ferrara è la più antica osteria del mondo. Secondo le fonti storiche esisteva già nell'anno 1100. Nel Quattrocento qui si arrivava in barca. Il suo nome originario, Hostaria del Chiuchiolino, deriva dalla parola dialettale chiù che significa “ubriaco”. Si trova in un vicolo adiacente alla Cattedrale di Ferrara. All'epoca della sua apertura, la zona era attraversata da un canale e l'osteria era accessibile direttamente in barca. Ospiti Illustri: Tra i suoi frequentatori storici si annoverano personaggi del calibro di Niccolò Copernico, che visse proprio sopra l'osteria mentre studiava all'Università di Ferrara, ma anche Tiziano Vecellio, Ludovico Ariosto e Torquato Tasso.
