Alfa Romeo Disco Volante 1952 l’Alfa Romeo realizzò una decina di esemplari da competizione con motori da 2 e 3,5 litri. Una di queste vetture, una 6C 3000 CM, guidata da Juan Manuel Fangio, arrivò seconda assoluta alla Mille Miglia del 1953. Con un modello simile Fangio vinse anche il primo Gran Premio Supercortemaggiore, disputatosi a Merano nello stesso anno. L’esemplare donato al Museo dalla stessa Alfa Romeo nel 1956 nasce con propulsore 2 litri e monta il potente 6 cilindri della 6C 3000.
