Scatto effettuato a mano libera a 750 mm piu crop. Mi trovo in Sicilia, e dopo le nevicate “marziane” che hanno imbiancato l’isola il 27 marzo, ho deciso di recarmi in un luogo a me particolarmente caro. C’è qualcosa di magico nell’aria dopo una nevicata, il silenzio ovattato, il profumo freddo e pulito e i colori della natura che sembrano risvegliarsi lentamente. In questo contesto, mi sto dedicando a immortalare un bellissimo nibbio reale (Milvus milvus). Lo osservo volteggiare elegante tra le correnti d’aria, con sullo sfondo la maestosa Dama Bianca e le vallate degli altopiani madoniti, ancora ricoperte dal mantello invernale degli alberi, che dona al paesaggio un fascino silenzioso e quasi fiabesco. Seguo questa specie dal 2018 e ogni incontro con lei continua a regalarmi emozioni profonde. Trovo che il nibbio reale sia uno degli uccelli rapaci più eleganti e intelligenti che abbia mai osservato: ogni movimento, ogni planata, ogni sguardo trasmette una grazia e una saggezza incredibili. L’osservare e fotografare questi rapaci non è solo una passione per me, ma un vero dialogo silenzioso con la natura, un momento in cui mi sento profondamente connesso con il mondo che mi circonda.
