It is integrated within the Malagasy Lutheran Church, which has more than 5 million members and thousands of congregations. In the Fifohazana tradition, Sunday worship is a deeply ritualized and communal event in which all participants dress in pure white garments as a sign of spiritual cleanliness and purity, a practice that carries profound symbolic meaning.
