La festa di San Fortunato, patrono della città di Todi si svolge tra il primo ed il secondo fine settimana di ottobre. Si articola su i due giorni del fine settimana e si svolge per la sua totalità all'interno della splendida piazza del Popolo sulla quale si affaccia il Duomo, il palazzo comunale ed altri pregevoli edifici della cittadina. La festa comprende gare di tiro con l'arco sia tra le contrade cittadine sia tra altre compagini provenienti da altre cittadine delle regioni limitrofe, vengono presentati anche balli tradizionali e giochi e passatempi dei tempi passati, molto interessante è l'esibizione dei falconieri che mostrano bellissimi uccelli che volano liberamente sulla piazza o stanno paciosi sul braccio degli addestratori. Il gran finale è la sfilata in costume delle rappresenta delle altre cittadine e delle contrade di Todi che rievocano avvenimenti storici dei secoli passati. L'epilogo della festa è il raduno di tutti i gruppi in costume sulla scalinata di S. Fortunato.
