Nel cuore delle Ande peruviane, oltre i 4.000 metri di altitudine, vivono i Q’eros, tra gli ultimi custodi della tradizione inca. Il progetto Q’eros Oltre le Nuvole racconta il loro legame profondo con la Pachamama, la spiritualità andina e una quotidianità che si svolge in equilibrio costante tra cielo e terra. Questa fotografia assume oggi un significato ancora più forte. Il terreno allagato non è una condizione abituale: negli ultimi anni improvvise bombe d’acqua cadono anche fuori dalla stagione delle piogge, sommergendo i campi di patate, una delle principali e spesso uniche fonti di sostentamento per la comunità Q’ero. Un tempo questo non accadeva. Il cambiamento climatico, qui, non è un tema distante ma una realtà concreta che mette a rischio l’equilibrio di una cultura fragile, strettamente legata ai ritmi della natura.
