Vero, un panorama insolito di Roma che riprende quello che, fino agli anni 70, era il quadrante industriale di Roma.
L'arrivo del metano chiuse definitivamente il grande Gazometro, l'industria su larga scala, prefabbricati e produzione standardizzata, le vetrerie, le olearie e la miralanza...poi le botteghe di artigiani che ancora si trascinavano, resistendo, fino alla prima metà degli 80.
Nei primi 2000 chiusero anche i mercati generali. Arrivò Romatre e qualche blando recupero di archeologia industriale trasformata in museo.

Oggi l'Ostiense, come tanti quartieri romani (e non) è un parco divertimenti per turisti 'alternativi' ed hipster.
La gentrificazione non risparmia nessuno, uccide il vecchio tessuto sociale e lo sostituisce con identità più consone al potere economico e politico.
