Ho deciso di creare una cartella di ritratti, lontani da ciò che faccio con i miei progetti. E' una provas, per vedere se piace, oppure no. Questa è una foto scattata anni fa. Fu un tentativo per cercare qualcosa di nuovo nella mia fotografia. Fui ovviamente ispirata... In questa fotografia non c'è post produzione massiccia. Non è la somma di tre immagini. È un unico scatto durato tutto il giorno. Si, uno scatto fatto di prove, tentativi e fallimenti continui. Il buio totale era il protagonista della giornata. Il soggetto doveva destreggiarsi senza riuscire a vedere e capire dove mettersi ogni tot secondi. Spostati qua, no no... Troppo poco, devi ruotare di più... Avanza di più... Questa foto mi ricorda una somma di tentativi falliti uno dietro l'altro. Quando si parla di tecnica, bisogna saperla ripetere, altrimenti è solo un caso. Ecco cosa mi ricorda tutto questo: i miei fallimenti. È stato un giorno bellissimo che mi ha fatto crescere tantissimo e mi ha spronata sempre di più a migliorarmi nel mio lavoro. Se ci sono riuscita? Non saprei, dovete dirlo voi. Questa foto mi ricorda che la luce non c'era. Il buio era importante. I privilegi fotografici si invertirono in questo caso. E la luce scrisse in poche manciate di secondo, o almeno questo è ciò che ho provato io. Non era la luce ad essere protagonista, ma l'oscurità e la luce, era una flebile penna che incideva un nero predominante. Ogni dose, doveva essere fatta nel modo giusto, altrimenti anche l'ultimo secondo avrebbe rovinato ogni cosa. Questo risultato è portato da Solo tecnica: tempi, ISO, diagramma... E mi direte voi, come ogni foto. Si, certo. Come cavalletto, una pila di libri sopra un tavolino. ...Ma dove in alcune foto possiamo salvarci almeno un po'... Qua, ogni errore diventa realtà imperdonabile. Riesci solo se decidi di riuscire. Non sto parlando di fotografia.
