at 18mm, 1/500 f/4.5, ISO 100, hand held. Auschwitz, Poland.

Good morning Paolo, great shot and perfect caption.
I would like to add just one of my reflections: "if those who suffered the Holocaust have learned nothing and have become executioners in turn..."

Beautiful evocative photo and profound message and, unfortunately, always current.
Lessons of history that must not be forgotten.

Paolo, I want to call it "Image Document". Like all image documents related to this one, it is and will remain touching and important over time.
Chapeau great B/W.
I share 1000x1000 the thought of "CianoLo". It seems not to have helped much.

Beautiful shot, which in its rawness and drama unequivocally renders the horror of that part of history that offends the whole of humanity.

An excellent photo that evokes the horrors of the extermination camps.
As you say, today is Holocaust Remembrance Day and remembering this tragedy
it is more than ever a duty, especially in these troubled days of ours.
Congratulations Paolo, hello!
Sergio ;-) :-)

Congratulations dear Paolo.
The world is changing. Authoritarianism, unfortunately, prevails in many nations, this is a great danger. The abuse of dominant power, aimed at controlling the population, inevitably crushes individual freedoms.
