Ho visto questo scoiattolo correre per la sua strada, completamente indifferente alla presenza delle persone. Osservandolo meglio, l'ho visto entrare in una tana ricavata in un albero portando con sé uno dei suoi piccoli. Subito dopo è ripartito di corsa nella direzione opposta. Ho deciso di aspettarlo e l'attesa non è stata vana: poco dopo è tornato, sempre di corsa, con un altro piccolo stretto in bocca, permettendomi di realizzare questo scatto, che resta uno dei miei preferiti.

Appena l'ho visto l'ho pensato anche io, ma quando poi è tornato con un secondo ho avuto la certezza che non era così!
Uno scoiattolo ?!? Ma quando mai?

Sarebbe stata un’osservazione ancora più interessante, considerando che le prime segnalazioni di scoiattoli predatori di topi risalgono al dicembre 2024 in California, mentre questa foto l’ho scattata ad aprile 2024.
Ma mi ritengo comunque molto fortunato ad aver avuto questo incontro anche se si tratta "solo" di uno spostamento di cuccioli MrGreen
