Ho avvicinato una famiglia rom che stava passando accanto a me: il padre Ladislav, la madre Maria e la piccola Ludmilka, che ha attirato la mia attenzione già da lontano con il suo sguardo e il suo sorriso. Maria era molto timida e ha preferito non apparire nello scatto, ma né lei né Ladislav si sono opposti al fatto che io catturassi questo momento. Li ringrazio sinceramente per la loro fiducia.
