WR 134 è una stella variabile di Wolf-Rayet nella costellazione del Cigno, a circa 5.700 anni luce dal Sole. Non è visibile a occhio nudo, ma un binocolo è sufficiente per l'osservazione. È intrinsecamente molto luminosa (400.000 volte più luminosa del Sole). Questa luminosità è dovuta alla sua elevatissima temperatura superficiale di 63.100 K, tipica delle stelle di Wolf-Rayet. Come le stelle della sua classe, WR 134 perde massa a un ritmo molto rapido attraverso venti stellari molto rapidi, la cui emissione è responsabile della debole nebulosa che la circonda. Sh2-101 (nota anche come Nebulosa Tulipano per la sua forma) è una nebulosa a emissione visibile nella costellazione del Cigno. Si trova nella parte centro-meridionale della costellazione, al centro di un tratto molto luminoso e ricco di stelle della Via Lattea. Ha una forma allungata e irregolare. Si tratta di una vasta regione H II situata nel tratto iniziale del Braccio di Orione, a circa 8.750 anni luce dal sistema solare. Si ritiene che la sorgente della radiazione ionizzante nei gas della nebulosa sia la stella HD 227018, una gigante blu di classe O6.5III con una magnitudine apparente di 9,01.
