L'ossario di Oslavia sorge in corrispondenza di Quota 153 del Monte Calvario e venne costruito nel 1938 su progetto di Ghino Venturi. Al suo interno riposano circa 57.000 soldati, di cui 37.000 senza nome. L'ossario si trova nell'abitato di Oslavia/Oslavje, presso Gorizia/Gorica. Venne costruito nel 1938 su progetto dell'architetto romano Ghino Venturi. La struttura occupa una superficie triangolare, è formato da quattro torri, una centrale e tre laterali. In ogni torre, lungo le pareti, sono disposte le celle mortuarie che conservano i resti dei soldati identificati. I corpi non identificati sono sepolti in tombe comuni che si trovano al centro di ognuna delle tre torri laterali, collegate tra loro da corridoi sotterranei nei quali ci sono delle cripte. La torre più importante è quella centrale, dove riposano 13 uomini che ottennero la medaglia d'oro per meriti di guerra.
