Ciao Fulvio, premetto che ho una conoscenza sui rapaci approfondita e che il genere falco spesso mette in crisi anche più esperti.
Dalla tua foto appaiono chiari almeno quattro elementi, che conducono verso il vespertinus e sono:
- Il vertice della testa, se noti le penne del capo hanno una striscia più scura scura lungo il rachide, che dà al vertice un effetto striato, il lodolaio ha la penna uniformenmente scura bordata di chiaro.
- Guancia bianca, il subbuteo ha come colore più chiaro il crema (più o meno pallido) che ha la stessa intesità su tutto il corpo, anche nel margine delle penne scure, il bianco è assente e comparirà solo nel piumaggio adulto.
- Gocciolatura del petto, fianchi e addome è di un colore più chiaro nel v., nel s. è di marrone bruno, tonalità che si riscontra nelle parti scure del piumaggio.
- colore delle zampe e della cera del becco, più accesi nel v. (se noti le zampe sono già arancioni), il s. yuv ha le zampe color giallo ma non così inteso e la cera del becco è di un giallo più pallido.
Perdona l'insistenza,in questo caso particolarmente rognoso, le osservazioni in volo posso essere più utili per le proporzioni che per il piumaggio.
