Dopo aver acceso in dono l'incenso nel bracere ed aver fatto il culto dell'acqua versata attorno al bracere, la foto mostra la stessa persona seduta a terra in una posa meditativa o di preghiera di fronte all'ingresso dell'antico tempio di Phnom Bakheng. Tutto questo mentre i turisti occidentali si erano seduti nella scalinata dall'altra parte dell'antico tempio ad assistere al tramonto nella valle sottostante con il lago sullo sfondo. Io possibilmente cerco sempre di evitare gli assembramenti e dopo aver fatto le classiche foto al tramonto velocemente girellando attorno al tempio ho assistito al rito dei doni e della preghiera. Defilato con il mio 70-200 per non disturbare chi offriva la sua devozione ne ho raccontato tutta la sequenza.

I momenti del raccoglimento della preghiera.



Posso fare una mia considerazione, se al posto della persona che ha effettuato tutto il rito e poi la preghiera davanti all'antico tempio



ci fosse stato un monaco con la sua tunica arancione, i turisti che sono saliti fino in cima alla collina ed al tempio avrebbero fatto la ressa per fotografare tutta la preghiera lasciando che il tramonto facesse il suo corso.
