Copio e incollo dalla didascalia di un altro mio scatto in cui avevo messo in evidenza questo particolare aspetto dell'alimentazione dello svasso maggiore: “…questi animali sono soliti ingerire le loro stesse piume che, una volta nello stomaco, creano un ammasso molle che facilita il rigurgito delle lische del pesce mangiato. Anche i pulli vengono imbeccati con questo particolare alimento, anche se delle volte non sembrano apprezzare più di tanto…”. In questo caso il lago era particolarmente mosso e trovo incredibile la capacità di torcere il collo dei genitori, in modo da rendere il più semplice possibile l'alimentazione dei piccoli!
