Zelbio si trova a circa 800m slm lungo la strada provinciale, che sale da Nesso e va fino alla Colma di Sormano, da dove scende a Sormano e quindi ad Asso. ecco la nota informativa sul complesso, presa dal sito specializzato: 'Sorgeva in questo luogo un edificio medievale, poi sostituito dall'attuale edificio. La sua costruzione iniziò nel 1593 e si protrasse fino al 1617. In quell'anno la chiesa divenne parrocchiale indipendente. L'aspetto attuale lo deve agli interventi sistematici attuati in più riprese nel Settecento. Venne creato anche l'ampio sagrato che ancora oggi la precede, insieme alle cappelle della Via Crucis che la circondano.' non mi rimane che aggiungere, che Zelbio é un paese veramente bellissimo, sicuramente da visitare.
