Soncino in 0mm - Editing review sent on October 08, 2025 (11:42) by Magnum58. 20 comments, 272 views. [retina]

, 1.3 sec f/1.8, ISO 100, tripod.

Fabrizio, the second one is good I would say even if eliminating the element on the right of the holy water font (which is now sharp and three-dimensional compared to before) has generated an artifact on the floor ... then I promise you that I will not make "flea eyes" any further! :-D
Great job, both in the shooting phase and in the post!
Greetings
Luca

Hi Luca, honestly I removed the element too much to distinguish the two shots without a doubt. I saw the artifact on the floor but I didn't want to erase and redo the correction, but I'm glad you noticed the smallest details so carefully. It would be nice if all posts were analyzed and discussed in such a deep way, there would just be a lot to learn (at least for me...) ;-)
Thank you again for your attention ;-)
Good evening.

Fabrizio, my eye fell for it only because this time the holy water stoup stands out in a "three-dimensional" way (which necessarily does not exist in photography) but I prefer to look at the performance as a whole, in this case I paid more attention to the details to understand the performance of the lens, for some time I have been looking for a UWA around 10 mm but a priori I excluded the manual focus, the two Laowa that I tried, the 10 mm f/2.8 and the 12 mm f/2.8, did not convince me, the 10 mm worse than the 12 mm, now I have fallen back on the Viltrox 14 mm Air f/4 which for the cost is extraordinary only that it is 14 mm and the shots you posted, with the 14 mm and the 9 mm, They explain everything.
Good evening
to you too Luca

Luca, this note of yours did not let me sleep peacefully..., and so I remedied it... :-D

Now I find it really pleasant, even having eliminated the artifact created in removing the annoying element next to the holy water stoup.

Where did the bench on the right go?
I always notice an obvious difference in color.
I prefer the former.
The second is artefatta.No. :-o

Thanks Gprizzi ;-)
Taralluccievino: the bench on the right was a pile of chairs that had nothing to do with the interior of the church...;
in the last one in fact I did not correct the blue enough, which is created by lowering the color temperature for the correction of whites (essential operation to not have all the yellow and orange shot...), so if you do not have an eye on the image that you considered the most correct it may happen that the difference is evident ....;
I posted the second one to highlight what had been removed compared to the original shot (the second, in fact), in fact that's where you can see what seemed to you to be a bench, if I understood correctly... ;-)

However, it happens to me too. I never remember what the faithful colors were.
I NEVER use presets on lr.
