Trovo interessante l'immagine e mi piace come il soggetto esce dallo sfondo.
"L'eccesso di nero" in fotografia si chiama spazio negativo e se opportunamente utilizzato può raffigurare un valore aggiunto ad un'immagine.
Quello che in questo scatto mi piace di meno è la composizione dell'immagine, perché il soggetto è tropo centrale. In questo forum noto spesso scarsa conoscenza delle regole di composizione ( terzi, spirale aurea ecc. ), che non sono aspetti di poca importanza e che andrebbero valutati da parte degli autori con maggiore attenzione.
Ciò premesso, se tu abbassi il soggetto (con questo sfondo puoi fare quello che vuoi) e lo sposti un po' a sinistra ( terzo inferiore o spirale aurea, o altro se preferisci) , l'immagine a mio avviso ne guadagna sotto il profilo estetico.

Buona sera, in composizione uso quasi sempre la regola dei terzi ( meno la spirale aurea ), mentre in macro adopero spesso quella che va sotto il nome di pulizia dell'immagine, ovverosia una maggiore centralità del soggetto con la messa a fuoco che tende ad isolare, appunto, il soggetto principale dallo sfondo.
Nella foto sopra avevo scelto quel pdr per enfatizzare l'effetto degli ultimi strali del sole che tramontava e sicuramente avrei potuto ottimizzare al meglio il tutto con un piccolo ritaglio e , in generale, con una post-produzione adeguata , ma sto attraversando uno dei peggiori momenti della mia vita e ho pubblicato frettolosamente l'immagine senza dedicargli un minuto in più...
In ogni caso, grazie a tutti per i rilievi e per l'attenzione dedicatami.
