Congratulations Marcello,
iconic image and certainly very beautiful.
I also consider the post-production work good, for what little I know, even if, remembering the places by heart, it seems to me that the work of correcting the falling lines has greatly distorted the perspective of the buildings.
Hello and have a nice day,
Paolo

Hi Roberto, thank you. A truly interesting monumental complex of considerable size. Finding the square in the image was not easy.

Good evening Paolo, thank you for your appreciation. The whole of the tower and the immense palace creates a whole (separately it would not make sense to photograph them) that is not easy to manage in the frame. It is also a question of space behind it, because there is no space in the square in front, which is surrounded by other buildings. So you have to find a square and manage a wide-angle lens from under a building of this size, as you know, is not easy. The post work was laborious on the falling lines, but all in all acceptable compared to such a close wide angle. A small photographic challenge that was pleasant to face to get out of the comfort zone.

Dearest Marcello,
you are perfectly right, I know that square and I know what you are talking about.
Even when you say that the post work was laborious: I understand little or nothing about posts but I had already told you that it seemed to me, as in fact it is, a good result.
Unfortunately, however, as I have also had the opportunity to observe, the "straightening" of falling lines, especially when they are quite accentuated, as you yourself said, produces a somewhat strange effect that changes the perspective of the places.
But, in my opinion, you were right to intervene because I don't like falling lines either. ;-)
Congratulations again and good evening,
Paolo
