Le costruzioni caratteristiche della Valsesia sono principalmente le case Walser, antiche abitazioni rurali in pietra e legno con una struttura a tre piani e ampi loggiati esterni ("Schopf") usati per l'essiccazione del fieno, adattate al clima piovoso della valle.
