Il "vecchio" faro di Viareggio si trova alla foce del canale marino "Burlamacca" a Viareggio. Fu costruito nel 1863 dalla Regia Marina per illuminare la costa, ma con l'ampliamento del porto e la costruzione del moderno faro sulla diga foranea è divenuto interno e meno funzionale, fino a non essere più utilizzato. Attualmente è un edificio di decoro e pregio del canale e fa da sfondo in questa foto ad un tramonto bellissimo che ho avuto la fortuna di ammirare.
