Ciao Manu, premetto che non sono un esperto... però a questo punto sembra che il motore della tua eq3.2 fa quello che vuole, Le cause possono essere ad esempio il basso voltaggio delle batterie del motore, oppure una cattiva lubrificazione dei meccanismi di demoltriplica del motorino, ma prima di allarmarti, se non l'hai già fatto, dovresti controllare entrambi... sostituire la batterie se necessario e lubrificare la meccania, probabilmente il motorino perde potenza e non mantiene il numero di giri costante, quindi come ti ho detto, sempre da inesperto, o è la bassa tensione delle batterie o la cattiva lubrificatione del movimento della testa equatoriale. Le stelle sono un po strisciate è vero, di conseguenza tutta la nebuolasa pare leggermente fuori fuoco. Aspettiamo Astrotrezzi, Astrokiara, Bal e altri astrofili che ne sanno più di noi per darti una loro opinione. Comque peccato perchè M42 poteva essere veramente ok. Ciao, Beppe
PS: ho visto le altre foto che hai postato, però quello che noto in tutte le foto, c'è un leggero fuori fuoco, forse come ti aveva detto Astrochiara a questo punto ti ci vuole un'auto guida.

Ciao Manu,
la nebulosa che hai postato per essere uno scatto da 5 minuti a 500mm di focale su EQ3.2 mi sembra già un ottimo risultato. Io ho lottato con questa montatura per poco più di due anni e la massima focale utile che sono riuscito a guidare manualmente senza problema erano 300 mm. Dopo i 300 mm fari pose più lunghe di 3-5 minuti era veramente dura! La foto postata oltrettutto non mi sembra un mosso dovuto al cattivo inseguimento della montatura ma piuttosto dovuto ad una raffica di vento o ad una botta che ha fatto oscillare l'ottica per qualche secondo.
Rinnovo comunque ancora i complimenti e ti auguro tante soddisfazioni con questa piccola ma ottima montatura,

P.S.: io avevo aggiunto la porta autoguida alla EQ3.2 applicando una piccola modifica "manuale". Se ti interessa posso mandarti del materiale.

the nebula you've posted to be a shot from 5 minutes to 500mm focal EQ3.2 already seems a good result. I have struggled with this frame for a little over two years and the maximum focal useful that I was able to drive manually without problem were 300 mm. After the 300 mm headlights poses longer than 3-5 minutes it was really hard! The photo posted oltrettutto does not seem a blur due to poor tracking of the frame but rather due to a gust of wind or a blow that has rocked the optics for a few seconds.
Renewal, however, still compliments and I wish you a lot of satisfaction with this small but great frame,
