Questo bellissimo picchio verde sta per saltare sul ramo più in luce per asciugare le piume dopo un gran bagno. Particolarità dell'esemplare ripreso è stato il fatto (in questa immagine non si vede) di avere gli occhi di un colore diverso l'uno dall'altro… l'occhio destro giallo sostato e il sinistro bluastro … Mai visto.
