Nella giornata del 13 Ottobre la cometa Tsuchinshan-Atlas è maggiormente visibile nell'emisfero nord e può essere apprezzata ancora meglio a occhio nudo, complice una maggiore altezza in cielo dovuta al suo allontanamento dal sole. L'essersi allontanata dal chiarore del sole ha fatto in modo che risaltasse meglio nel cielo. Lo scenario che ho voluto presentare è uno di quelli a me più cari: la cometa risplende sopra la parte alta della città di Modica che è quella in cui sono cresciuto. Il quartiere della città alta è uno dei più antichi di Modica e al culmine di esso svetta la chiesa di San Giovanni Evangelista, costruita in stile barocco, in seguito al terribile terremoto che colpì la Sicilia sud orientale nel 1693".
