Galleria Nedbalka
La Galleria Nedbalka è un'organizzazione no - profit fondata nel 2012. La galleria si trova in un edificio storico ristrutturato in via Nedbalova a Bratislava . In linea con il sottotitolo della galleria, " Arte moderna slovacca", i suoi rappresentanti si sono prefissati l'obiettivo di collezionare gradualmente, elaborare sistematicamente e presentare opere d'arte del XX secolo, con una sovrapposizione alla fine del XIX e all'inizio del XXI secolo, create in Slovacchia. Gli spazi espositivi ospitano una mostra permanente su quattro piani dedicata alla nascita e allo sviluppo dell'arte moderna slovacca, che offre un quadro della storia della pittura e della scultura in Slovacchia nel XX secolo. Attraverso circa 160 dipinti e sculture significativi, i visitatori possono farsi un'idea abbastanza completa della scena artistica slovacca di questo periodo. Le opere sono suddivise cronologicamente e in modo significativo in unità che indicano le tendenze fondamentali dell'arte figurativa in un arco di tempo di oltre un secolo.
Tra le personalità di spicco della fine del secolo, la galleria presenta le opere di Ladislav Med?anský , Dominik Skutecký e Peter Július Kern . L'arte tra le due guerre è rappresentata da Anton Jaszusch, ?udovít Fulla , Mikuláš Galanda , Martin Benka , Miloš Alexander Bazovský , Cyprián Majerník , Vincent Hložník , Gustáv Mallý , Endre Nemes e altri.
