Ci sarà anche un po' di Bergamo sull'asfalto del circuito di Hockenheim, in Germania. Dal 29 al 31 agosto il team Serious Valley sarà protagonista ai Nitrolympx, la più importante manifestazione europea di drag racing, davanti a oltre 60mila spettatori. La partecipazione a questa competizione rappresenta una tappa storica per la squadra bergamasca, che fa della propria “orobicità” un tratto distintivo. Il nome richiama, infatti, la Val Seriana, terra d'origine di alcuni dei suoi componenti. I mezzi pronti a divorare l'asfalto di Hockenheim sono due autentici pezzi di storia: una Chevrolet Bel Air del 1953 “Heavy Maybe”, con motore da 8.700 cc e 1000 Cv, e il dragster Golden Nugget del 1965, leggero e potente con motore da 5.900 cc alimentato a metanolo. La prima è in grado di toccare i 215 km/h in9.89 secondi, mentre la seconda completa il quarto di milioni 8.60 secondi... Buona fortuna ragazzi.... dategli del gran gas...!!!!
