e' tradizione degli abitanti di Changzhou trascorrere il week end lungo le rive del lago, apprezzato per la bellezza del luogo e per i numerosi templi antichi. Le famiglie si ritrovano sotto le loro tende attrezzate per barbeque sino all'ora del tramonto e quando il sole lascia posto alla notte inizia uno spettacolo di fuochi artificiali, alimentato dai partecipanti, che dura per ore lungo tutto il perimetro del lago. Il giorno dopo la solerte attività degli operatori ecologici ripristina pulizia e decoro per il prossimo week end.
