"NEVER GIVE UP" Nella notte del 23 luglio 2025 ho assistito a uno spettacolo unico, visibile perfettamente ad occhio nudo mentre attraversava il cielo notturno sopra l'Abruzzo. Si tratta della scia del secondo stadio del razzo SpaceX Falcon?9, missione NASA TRACERS, lanciato da Vandenberg Space Force Base in California alle 11:13 a.m. PDT (18:13 UTC) dello stesso giorno. La luce solare, riflessa dai gas a 300+ km di quota, ha creato questa colonna verticale biancastra, ripresa durante la sessione di star trails. La traiettoria e l'illuminazione solare in alta quota hanno reso il fenomeno visibile come un cono/plume luminoso fino ad arrivare in Italia dove ho scattato questa immagine! Tra l'altro è possibile notare la via lattea sulla destra con la galassia di Andromeda e la stella polare perfettamente centrata nella foto. E' stato un evento incredibile, completamente inaspettato! Perchè ho chiamato cosi la foto? Perchè il 23 luglio volevo rimanere a casa ma qualcosa mi ha spinto fuori, perchè arrivato in location con un'idea di uno star trail, mi son ritrovato ad essere nervoso per vari motivi e volevo tornare a casa. Ma ho deciso comunque di passare tutta la notte fermo su una roccia per scattare uno star trail e tornare a casa e sono stato ripagato da questo spettacolo incredibile!
