Queste due sculture monolitiche si trovano nel comune di Campana, Presila ionica in provincia di Cosenza. Più o meno accantonata l'ipotesi che siano frutto di un formidabile scherzo di Madre Natura, rimangono oscuri le loro origini e gli autori, con un ventaglio di ipotesi che vanno dalle truppe di Annibale, andando a ritroso nel tempo, fino ad arrivare a popolazioni neolitiche vissute nell'area 8/10.mila anni fa. Tanti dubbi, pochissime certezze. Imponenti (5 e 7 metri di altezza), l'Elefante è meglio conservato rispetto al Ciclope seduto, del quale manca del tutto la porzione superiore del corpo, però con le "gambe" perfettamente riconoscibili; qui non si vedono perché sono sull'altro lato della scultura. Altra stranezza, sotto la base rocciosa sulla quale si ergono, sono state scavate due piccole grotte.
