Oggi un immagina ambientata , un bellissimo incontro : il “Gipeto” l' avvoltoio barbuto (Gypaetus barbatus) A tremila metri di altezza, sospeso in un silenzio rarefatto e cristallino, un magnifico Gipeto plana con maestosità, in volo è la perfetta incarnazione della grazia selvaggia. Con un'apertura alare che può raggiungere i 2,9 metri, plana silenzioso nel cielo con movimenti lenti, ampi, quasi solenni. Le sue ali lunghe e strette, leggermente ricurve verso l'alto, lo rendono un maestro del volo planato, capace di sfruttare ogni refolo d'aria per librarsi senza sforzo anche per ore.La coda, lunga e a forma di cuneo, agisce come un timone preciso, permettendogli di cambiare direzione con eleganza e precisione. Visto da sotto, il suo piumaggio chiaro sul ventre contrasta con le penne più scure delle ali, mentre il collo e la testa, adornati da piume rossastre o fulve gli conferiscono un aspetto quasi mitologico.
