Lo sport come terapia fortificatrice del carattere se praticato scevro da ambizioni esclusivamente economiche. Deve essere sfida interiore con i propri limiti e stimolante nel confronto paritario con gli altri. Vittorie e sconfitte si devono intrecciare formando il robusto tronco idoneo a resistere alle inevitabili tempeste che la vita proporrà. Per la riuscita è però indispensabile il corretto supporto educativo dei genitori, ahimè non così diffusamente scontato...
Lo scatto, complice anche il riuscito b/n, mi riporta ai tempi della fanciullezza quando anch'io giocavo al pallone in strada... un felice ricordo.

Sport individuale o collettivo, entrambi scuole di vita. Quel mio tempo, anni settanta, pomeriggi di incontri improvvisati sui marciapiedi e stradine di asfalto dove importante era prestare attenzione a "non cadere" (nella mia professione è stato di insegnamento). Nel gioco di squadra l'individuale è parte di un insieme: ogni ambiente (team) è un gioco di miscelazione dei colori (personalità individuale).
Per fortuna del calcio già allora avevo compreso che non avrei avuto alcun futuro ma quanta energia positiva in quei pomeriggi. Ora quell'energia non è più possibile, quei marciapiedi e stradine sono un parcheggio disordinato di auto e quanto ai genitori, ahimè, anche loro sono da tempo cambiati nel modello educativo.
Non a caso un noto allenatore apostrofò il suo giocatore lamentoso "quando ti pagano milioni non è più sport".
