Il ciclo della vita Sai dirmi che animali ho fotografato in questo scatto? È uno dei momenti più intensi del mio ultimo workshop fotografico in Kenya. Siamo nel cuore della savana. La guida ci dice: “Amiamo osservare questo felino, ma dorme tutto il giorno. Siamo qui da due ore, andiamo a cercare altro…” Eravamo in due jeep, con 7 partecipanti fortunati, divisi in piccoli gruppi per vivere al meglio l'esperienza. Una delle jeep, con alcuni partecipanti meno pazienti, decide di proseguire. Io invece scelgo di restare, fidandomi dell'esperienza, dell'intuizione e soprattutto della conoscenza degli animali. ? Dopo tre ore, lui si sveglia. Il felino emerge dal suo riposo e ci regala un momento incredibile: ci mostra la sua preda, come a dirci: “Hai aspettato… te la sei meritata questa foto.” ? E in quel momento ho premuto il pulsante. Questo episodio mi ha ricordato una cosa fondamentale: “La pratica senza lo studio vale 4. Lo studio senza la pratica vale 5. Ma studio + pratica insieme valgono 10.” L'esperienza sul campo, unita alla conoscenza approfondita del comportamento animale, fa la differenza. Ps.
