Rauðaskál, soprannominato "the apple crater" emerge splendidamente da una landa desertica di cenere e roccia vulcanica. Hi Simo, the sky is often like this in Iceland and the light is flat because the sun was already high: it's not an excuse, it's the light I found at that moment and I couldn't come back. However, if there had been a "golden hour" light with the sun lower on the horizon and fewer clouds, it would have been a less flat photo.
