Questo esemplare di Gatto di Pallas, è originario di uno zoo in Repubblica Ceca. Da poche settimane è stato accolto dal Parco Gallorose in Italia, poichè dichiarato idoneo per adottare questo bellissimo felino. La densità della specie è purtroppo molto bassa. La sopravvivenza è minacciata dalla distruzione del suo habitat naturale, dalla mancanza di prede e dall'uomo come cacciatore. Il Parco Gallorose, con cui ho iniziato a collaborare per la sensibilizzazione e per raccontare l'importanza di alcuni centri in Italia che danno la possibilità di tutela e protezione accogliendoli in un ambiente creato appositamente per loro, garantendogli la sua riservatezza in un habitat nel quale questo micio accetta come ecosistema. In genere io lavoro in Africa con i centri di recupero e organizzo safari per studiare animali in libertà, ma una parte del mio progetto racconta anche queste riserve Nazionali e Internazionali, appoggiando ovviamente quelle che tutelano veramente l'animale.
