Really nice. But this has been achieved only by applying an IR filter?

thanks for all the compliments

the photograph with IR filter is practiced with different types of filter, which vary depending on the frequency in nanometers eg. ir680 filter will let most visible spectrum compared to a filter 720: using a filter with a lower number of 700 will get more colors in the shot, a filter above 700 is great for a B / W a sepia.

you shoot most often between 20 and 30 seconds, the focus must be adjusted before fitting the filter, for even in liveview screen will be almost black.

the best to take are opposed to the classical ones, so light and full of contrasts.

among the most interesting aspects we find that some materials react differently tolla IR light, for example, the chlorophyll contained in the leaves has absorption peaks since about 700nm, then the wavelengths greater than the threshold are returned almost entirely, so the foliage is white.

we have the raw after shooting is very different from the results shown in this photo, the negative will contain the full range of red / magenta, very unpleasant, on the web you will find very detailed information on how to post produce;
I mention that the basic need to make a color swap, which is a reversal of the channels in the channel mixer: in the red channel will reset the red and bring to 100 the blue back in the blue channel.
in this way we will get at least a blue sky.

experimentation in this area is a must and personal taste can lead to outcomesand totally unexpected and certainly charming.

for more information and any corrections I found on the forum,

see you soon
