dear friends is a very dear memory for me. It's a photo from 60 years ago, but it's like I took it a few
weeks ago. I was in Sardinia for my first job as a technician for the electricity networks and this village
(Benetutti) is located in the central north part surrounded by cork woods, nuraghi, narrow and winding
roads and lots of greenery.
I remember that the "grandfather" gladly had his picture taken. Maybe he had never seen a camera like the
Pentax Spotmatic and therefore did not give importance to my request.
I found this negative somewhat ruined and I had to "fiddle" a lot to eliminate at least
part of the scratches. But I was satisfied with the result... ;-)

cari amici é un carissimo ricordo per me. E' una foto di 60 anni fa, ma é come l'avessi ripresa qualche
settimana fa. Ero in Sardegna per il mio primo lavoro da tecnico per le reti elettriche e questo paesino
(Benetutti) é situato nella parte centrale nord immerso in boschi di sugheri, nuraghi, strette e tortuose
strade e tanto verde.
Ricordo che il "nonno" si fece fotografare volentieri. Forse non aveva mai visto una macchina come la
Pentax Spotmatic e quindi non dette importanza alla mia richiesta.
Ho ritrovato questo negativo alquanto rovinato e ho dovuto "smanettare" non poco per eliminare almeno
una parte delle rigature. Ma sono rimasto soddisfatto del risultato...
