La continuazione della camminata lungo la via Francigena avrebbe dovuto aver luogo nel 2020 , ma fra i tanti nefasti effetti del covid ci fu anche la rinuncia a proseguire il percorso . Siamo riusciti a ripartire da Siena solo nel 2025 ... , lasciata alle spalle piazza del campo il paesaggio lungo la val d'Orcia è un continuo susseguirsi di colline e di opportunità di scatto , purtroppo non sempre i tempi del trekking vanno d'accordo con quelli della fotografia e spesso valutando la lunghezza degli spostamenti neppure con una buona programmazione è facile trovare durante le ore centrali qualche soggetto in cui sia possibile almeno simulare le eccellenti condizioni di luce tipiche dei momenti di alba e tramonto , viceversa capita spesso di trovarsi con luci interessanti ma in luoghi a scarsa attrattività ..., in aiuto può intervenire una post non invasiva che può almeno parzialmente aiutare ad evidenziare la bellezza di ciò che si è visto senza alterare in maniera quasi fumettistica il ricordo del momento vissuto.
