Genova è una città con sue particolari caratteristiche identitarie (come penso ogni città abbia le proprie).
Da un punto di vista geografico/territoriale è 'stretta' tra le colline e il mare, si trova al centro di un golfo: è quasi un porto naturale.
Ci sono, poi, altre 'mille' caratteristiche, in parte meno evidenti, che si scoprono (a volte non facilmente) vivendoci.
Da un punto di vista storico, .... molto è di dominio pubblico, ma non tutto è stato detto! 
(i personaggi e il popolo che vivono in questo territorio ne sono 'compenetrati'; recentemente ti ho fatto conoscere, tramite un paio di link, uno di questi, peraltro di origine toscana).
