L'Islanda è incredibile, ed è effettivamente una terra che o ami o odi. Secondo me le più grosse sorprese le riservano il nord e l'est, e credo anche i fiordi occidentali, ma non essendoci stato non saprei dire. La parte tra Reykjavik e la laguna glaciale è assolutamente bella, ma ormai decisamente troppo affollata da turisti e, come appunto dici, spesso caratterizzata da ampi spazi aperti (che comunque a me piacciono molto). |

Probabilmente il mio "hype" per questo viaggio era talmente elevato (lo sognavo dal 2020, poi tra covid ecc ho dovuto attendere 5 anni) che le aspettative erano clamorosamente alte, forse troppo, per cui sono tornato a casa con tante foto bellissime, ma con una sensazione agrodolce e con poca voglia di tornarci subito, come invece mi capita quando viaggio in Norvegia o Svezia.
