Appennino Bolognese / Il “metato” è una costruzione di sasso dove, nella tradizione montanara dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, venivano essiccate le castagne per poi macinarle e ottenere la rispettiva farina / Numerosi sono ancora questi piccoli edifici sparsi per i monti, moltissimi ridotti a ruderi e altri ancora quasi intatti ma comunque dimenticati / Complessivamente pochi quelli ancora in uso / La loro ubicazione era ovviamente legata alle aree destinate alla coltivazione del castagno ma che, l'abbandono della montagna, ce li fa oggi ritrovare in luoghi spesso inaspettati… luoghi dove il fitto bosco ha preso il sopravvento e ha inglobato queste ultime residue testimonianze di una economia di sopravvivenza. #BiancoeNero #BlackAndWhite
