Charadrius Alexandrinus o più comunemente chiamato "Fratino" È un piccolo uccello che popola le nostre spiagge durante la stagione balneare ,qui ci vive e nidifica per poi rimigrare e ritornare la stagione successiva. Il Fratino nidifica principalmente sulle spiagge ,le sue uova si mimetizzano fra la sabbia,proprio per questo motivo la sua presenza è a rischio ,perché durante la stagione balneare ,quando le nostre spiagge vengono prese d'assalto,spesso non ci si accorge della presenza del nido o talvolta dei piccoli pulli ,che per difendersi rimangono perfettamente immobili. Per lo stesso motivo ,anche i nostri amici a 4 zampe,portati in spiaggia ,,rappresentano un rischio concreto per i nidi , perché potrebbero distruggerli.
