Granchio delle pennatule (Porcellanella triloba ) Questo piccolo granchio che non supera 1 cm di dimensioni è un filtratore ed usa il terzo massillipede (arto toracico)modificato a formare delle lunghe setole con le quali cattura detriti e micro plancton di cui si nutre. Vive come commensale in associazione ad altri animali marini, come pennatule, anemoni, alcionari e coralli.Nella foto ripresa nello stretto di Lembeh in Indonesia si notano molto bene le setole con cui cattura il cibo.
