f/2.4, ISO 40, Venezia, Italy.

Of all my favorite turns out to be the first b/w after the color photo, I see it with a right contrast and makes the b/w pleasant. The work done on the comment photo is valid, but I would see them without the crowd only because the people you can see for their clothing cannot represent the aging of the image, except for the two ladies who have clothes that are certainly not modern.

Pigi47 - thanks for everything comment your "favorite" I call it simple bn :-P less worked... to margo on what you wrote me made clothes ... you are rightly right... in the "aged" versions it "itches" which looks ancient but with modern dresses... but this is not so much of a problem for me - that is, it doesn't bother me... The photos are taken with cell. and versions made I spent time with changes at the moment when I could not photograph only play with photos I had and using PC and Photoshop, always thanks for your words ... good continuation greetings from Peter :-)

Hi Peter, as you well described in the caption, the photos you have published are mainly memories that are worth emotions, I find that the one you posted filtered is the most suitable for this purpose and well renders the emotion of a memory.
hello and good evening
Carlo

... I leave this to others I publish them because I like some of them very much and above all they remind me of many things

I think it is the correct way to approach the forum, considering that 99% of us make more or less successful posts I think that emotion must prevail over the mere technical fact.
Also for me the photo you published is the one that gives me the most in this sense and, since I stopped for a comment I think it has achieved its purpose ;-)
greetings
Silvano

I like the B/W with rain effect, it seems to me that it justifies the stampede and the hustle and bustle highlighted by the photo.
Congratulations

@Giorgio Bertoletti - thank you very much Giorgio, forgive me I'm not sure if I understood part of your comment correctly... "it seems to me that a bit justifies the stampede and the commotion highlighted by the photo" , greetings from Peter :-)

Sorry if I didn't express myself well, I meant that any rain would justify a more frantic movement of people looking for shelter.
Just this.
I like the photo and I consider it very beautiful.

hello Peter, thank you for what you wrote, I reiterate the fact that every shot always starts from emotion, and, as Silvano says and I fully agree, I leave the technicalities for last and to the sophists (masters of virtue who were paid for their teachings). Keep up
the good work hello again and have a nice day

Venice tris(te)...
Photography is a personal matter. It must first of all satisfy those who take it. If it also meets the favor of others, better. So, for me, the first one was good with this contrast sought and found between past mood and modern outfit ...
Greetings
GG

Bravo Peter, the first one you proposed is the one I like the most, you wanted to give a dirty and retro flavor to a Venice inflated by tourists and this rewarded you with a beautiful interpretation. Excellent b/w
