L'inizio del mio viaggio botanico: c'è vita anche dove sembra impossibile... Carissimi, finalmente con l'inizio della primavera vi do il benvenuto nella mia nuova rubrica dedicata alla flora spontanea autoctona delle Madonie Camminando tra le rocce e i ghiaioni, dove la vegetazione sembra scarseggiare, sono rimasto colpito dalla presenza di una pianta particolare a 1700 s.l.m: il Linum punctatum C. Presl subsp. punctatum, conosciuto con il nome di lino di montagna. Questa pianta è un tesoro botanico esclusivamente siciliano, di cui le Madonie rappresentano il suo habitat privilegiato. Il suo colore spicca vividamente contro i toni aridi e grigi dei ghiaioni circostanti, creando un contrasto che è tanto sorprendente quanto affascinante. Questo piccolo gioiello della natura non solo abbellisce il paesaggio, ma racconta anche una storia di adattamento e resistenza. Cresce in condizioni difficili, là dove molte altre piante non riescono a prosperare, eppure riesce a fiorire con una grazia e una delicatezza uniche. Spero sinceramente che questa nuova rubrica vi piaccia e che possa diventare un viaggio condiviso alla scoperta delle meraviglie botaniche delle Madonie.
