Vitaliano Brancati vi ha soggiornato, essendo cugino del primo propietario e pare che questo luogo sia stato per lui fonte di ispirazione, tutto il resto è leggenda. Gli attuali proprietari ci villeggiano e raggiungono la villetta con una piccola imbarcazione a motore, proprio di fronte alla villa, infatti, c'è il porto turistico il Paguro, che nella foto non si vede perchè viene smontato a Ottobre e rimontato a Maggio, io tengo lì il mio gommone.
