1/400 f/1.7, ISO 100,

Spero possiate apprezzarla o anche ri-apprezzarla insieme a me!

Actually there was a green cast, the 3:2 or 4:3 format is a matter of taste, I wouldn't know how to decide even if perhaps the 3:2 seems more balanced to me.
It is a great photo, especially for the message it conveys.

Very suggestive, the light on the background texture creates a very special golden effect. The streaks of water and mud almost remind me of the veins of a leaf... The final result is of great visual impact.

Such an in-depth visual research in this reality deserves every possible technical improvement in its realization and your freedom in expressing it is welcome.

If I hadn't read your entire presentation I wouldn't have imagined either the origin of the shot or the meaning you attributed to it, but I assure you that the magnetism of the image struck me.
A two-tone bas-relief that attracts the eye and invites contact.

Thank you for coming or re-viewing this shot and for confirming the improvement! :-)
Marina's comment made me think (whom I thank) because it offered me a different point of view, that of a person who does not know the background of the author and that of the photo, but who is still struck by something and maybe from there a question arises and the desire to enter more into the image. A rare thing in our days!

Yes, here PP is really very natural, no dominant.
Wise use of the drone on this occasion, really wonderful congratulations.. ;-)

Dear Alberto, what you did happens to me too. Yours, before this was from July 2024 so not so long ago.
As far as I'm concerned, I'd have to re-postproduce many of my photos. Time changes everything and what our eyes observe today. Damani may already be uneligible.
The photo is very beautiful, essential and with splendid graphics.
A warm greeting and good evening.
Giancarlo.

At first glance I was perplexed having interpreted the shot as a vertical wall which therefore did not coincide with the intertwining of branches.
The comment clarified. The rest of the gallery is also very nice. Congratulations.

Beautiful minimal that excites for your interpretation, congratulations Alberto, I haven't seen or I don't remember the first version but it deserved to be proposed again!
Greetings Agata ;-)

Thank you Maryas and Agata for the kind words! :-)
The first version is still here, in this gallery if you want to see it:

I never delete the published photos, even if with some defects or few feedbacks, mainly out of respect for those who commented on them.

At first these photos didn't tell me much and in fact I didn't even comment on the first version. Then over time I began to appreciate the more graphic ones and I stop there.
What you wrote in the caption and the motivations that prompted you to shoot are too personal things that I appreciate but that I would never have arrived at from the mere vision of the photo.
What I see is for me a gem, a jewel or a simple bud of a flower that has yet to open.
Aesthetically I would have slightly tilted the frame to align the two curves to the right and left of the white area, something that I had already suggested to you in private some time ago but that you have not even taken into consideration so I assume you will not do it this time either :-D :-D :-D
Your sensitivity and attention to certain details in photography is truly enviable.
