La lunghissima camerata dei soldati che termina sul bastione orientale. La camerata è percorribile sui lati. Alcuni tratti centrali presentano segni di cedimento. Il Forte Ratti è una struttura lunga 250 metri composta da una caserma fortificata con feritoie per cannoni leggeri e fucili verso Genova e bastioni armati con cannoni pesanti verso Nord. Il forte è accessibile e visitabile con cautela (nelle stanze non camminare al centro ma lungo le pareti). Si raggiunge con una camminata di circa due ore e 5-600 metri di dislivello a secondo del punto di partenza.
