Questo è un mosaico composto da due immagini: il Mare della Tranquillità e il Mare del Nettare. Il seeing era buono, ma non ottimo. Nel mare della Tranquillità, c'è il cratere Lamont ed è composto solo da un sistema di creste, alte qualche centinaio di metri, in quanto si tratta presumibilmente di un antico cratere da impatto completamente ricoperto di lava. Si riescono a intravedere due anelli concentrici, ma incompleti. Il diametro della corona più interna è di circa 60km. Proprio per la bassa altezza delle creste che lo compongono, Lambert è ben visibile quando la luce del Sole è molto radente. Più a sud è ben riconoscibile la coppia Ritter e Sabine e a lato i crateri Aldrin, Collins e Armstrong. Poco distante è presente il luogo dell'allunaggio dell'Apollo 11. Leggermente più a sud c'è Rimae Hypatia, lunga circa 206km. Ancora più a sud, nel Mare del Nettare, sono presenti la terna di crateri Theophilus, Cyrillus e Chatarina. Un dettaglio che ho voluto sottolineare è il raggio formatosi dai getti del lontano cratere Tycho che oltrepassa il cratere Rosse, già visibile anche se la Luna è di 9,6 giorni. Le immagini sono state riprese il 5 marzo 2025 dalle ore 19:05 alle 19:10 UT Telescopio Meade Cassegrain 203mm f10 - ZWO ASI662MC Stacking di 6200 frame per la prima immagine, e da 3800 per la seconda Elaborazione Autostakkert!4, Astra Image 6 e Affinity Photo
